Being an Internet Magical girl... ♡

The silly little goober you see around the site is Rin Kiyohara ! My self-insert and magical girl persona, lolol... She's a bit silly and clumsy, but always trying her best no matter what ^_^ ~ Just like me! If severe Chuunibyou and believing you're a magical girl off to save the world is what keeps your head up, so be it ^_^ Hehe

If there's one thing I try hardest to be, it's a positive and whimsical soul ... My philosophy is that the world is just so big and scary (and honestly awful..Lol), so it's always worth trying to find the good in everything no matter what life throws at you, and that sort of thought process is what's gotten me through a lot in my life^_^; ...

It sounds really odd to some people, even outlandish, but it's what keeps me going ~ Since I started to have this sort of thought process is when I've made it my goal to push a positive, inspiring impression on everyone I reach, either through the internet or irl. Rinnie is just an extension of that!

Through her, I wanna remind everyone about the silly little things that make life worth experiencing. She's my love letter to the world and a reminder that everyone's still got a little hope & magic in them, even when it doesn't always feel like it.

I plan on making a greater page for her soon so I can yap yap yap more but I guess this little melodramatic snippet is enough for now, heh...

Favorite Games

Video gaming is probably my top 1 hobby ... I play mostly RPGs and love games with story! I'm not so much of a fan of competitive or FPS games lol

My favorite of all time is the Yakuza / 龍が如く / LAD series !!! I started with Y0 on November 3, 2023 and it's changed my life since ...
Kiryu Kazuma is my favorite character of all time, and (I think) one of the best written characters across all of media. My favorite games from the series are Y0 and YK2!

I plan on making a fansite/shrine very soon, so stay tuned ~


Other games I like include: NieR Automata & Replicant, Persona series, FFXIV, FFVII, Bayonetta, Zenless Zone Zero, Splatoon, TEKKEN, Genshin Impact, RE, Ace Attorney, Pokemon.

Interests & Hobbies

I'm a bit of a tech geek and I love learning about stuff.. I'm currently self studying lotsa things hehe...

I am also a huge J-fashion enthusiast! I love love love the uniqueness of the styles and urrhgg self expression is awesome.

I like reading sometimes, but I mostly read books on mental health / self-help / philosophy, manga, or Japanese fiction.

Menhera/Yamikawa culture means a lot to me, and I've been semi-active in the subculture since around 2020... Albeit through different ways. I'm very passionate about the destigmatizing of mental health and self-help, ask me about it and I can speak for hours..!! My friends would tell you I've had my fair share of rants about the topic lol

The WOTAKOI: Love is Hard for Otaku manga is probably my favorite manga ever... It's been my favorite since I discovered it in late 2020/late 2021 and I love all the characters so much.

I'm a big fan of little. creatures. Sanrio, San-X, Chiikawa, you name it... I love those things. Throw me in a MINISO and I will return with938382 items you Cannot Stop me.

I collect Pokemon Cards, Manga, plushies, and as much merch of my fav franchises that my sickly wallet can handle...
